London Balfolk was started in 2015 by a group of friends who love folk dance and want to bring it to the people of London! We are building on the work of the (now closed) SOAS French Folk Dance society, organising and promoting high quality, inclusive dance events.
We are looking for additions to the team!
If you’re keen, we need help with:
– finance and book keeping
– social media marketing and email promotion
– blogging
– managing and updating the website
– liaising with venues to agree hire terms
– helping out at events, especially with clearing away at the end
– teaching dances
